I’m comfortable dealing with people
Whilst modern cleaning machines are becoming an increasingly important component, at heart this is still a people business. Whether its cleaners, supervisors or clients, you’ll need to feel comfortable dealing with people.

I have a real desire to succeed
Unless you really are committed to making a success of your franchise, the chances are it won’t happen. We know desire when we see it and we know that it always delivers results.

I’m happy to put in the effort
There are very few free rides in life, and an Ecocleen management franchise is no exception. It’s hard work and there is no disguising the fact. If you like being busy and you’re prepared to muck in when required, you’ll feel right at home with Ecocleen.

I’ve had some management experience
We’re not looking for MDs of large companies, but most of our successful franchisees have had some form of management experience. It doesn’t matter what business, or even if you haven’t worked in the commercial sector before, but experience of managing people is an important asset.

I don’t know anything about cleaning
No problem. Only one of our franchisees had any experience of the business before they started. Training is high on our priorities and both the initial training course and the ongoing training we provide are highly effective and continually evolving.

I like to make sure a job’s done right
Quality. It’s how we win and keep our clients. In our business, it’s either clean or it isn’t. You’ll need to embrace and deliver on our commitment, being happy to do what it takes to get the job done right.

The thought of selling doesn’t scare me
Selling cleaning services isn’t difficult and we can teach you everything you need to k now to make a success of it. But if the very thought of asking for the business fills you with fear, this probably isn’t the franchise for you.

I have some liquid funds to invest
While we have good support from the banks and our innovative in house funding scheme, we don't encourage franchisees that have very limited funds and would need to borrow heavily to make the initial investment. We reckon you will need to be able to find at least £10,000 from your own resources.

I don’t have a bad credit history
Growing your franchise substantially will require the occasional additional short-term investment. This is where the banks can really help with loans and leases if required. If your credit history is poor, you’ll find growing your franchise is slower and more difficult.

I have a driving licence
You’ll soon find you have contracts all over your region and you’ll need to be mobile to keep in touch. A driving licence is essential and those with almost maximum points on their licence will need to consider carefully how they would manage if disqualified.
